Community Standards

Good neighbours, good tools, good jobs.

Respectful communication

  • Reply promptly and politely to messages and booking requests.
  • Be clear about times, places and what is included.
  • Say so early if plans change — nobody minds a change, everyone minds a no-show.

Honest listings

  • Use your own photos of the actual tool.
  • Describe the condition, age and any quirks truthfully.
  • List accessories and consumables accurately, and keep prices up to date.

Safe handovers

  • Meet in a sensible place at a sensible hour.
  • Show how the tool works and point out its safety features.
  • Complete the handover and return checklists on the booking.

No harassment

Abuse, threats, discrimination, unwanted contact or sharing someone else's details will get an account closed immediately.

No fraud

Do not take payments off-platform, list tools you do not own, invent damage claims or create fake reviews.

No unsafe behaviour

Never lend a tool you know to be faulty, remove safety guards, or pass a high-risk tool to someone who is clearly not able to use it safely.
